ZANLINK WI- ZONES (HOT SPOTS)

ZANLINK ‘WI-ZONES’ or Hot Spots are high speed wireless Internet zones that are covered with wireless or WIFI Internet access. These zones are available at strategic places either in Zanzibar stone town or elsewhere that are managed by ZANLINK’s fast and reliable Wireless broadband Internet services.

So how does this work?

Simply, any person who wishes to access wireless Internet on their laptops can do so when they visit such a zone. Such zones will mainly be public places like restaurants, hotels or other public areas where people visit frequently to combine business with pleasure and surf the net while sipping their drinks. Clients just require to buy scratch cards at the reception of the WI-ZONE or elsewhere. Cards come with different denominations with different surfing times.This works in the below simple steps:

• Open your laptop and switch it on. It will immediately detect a WIFI connection (if you are in the ZANLINK WI-ZONE). It will ask you for PIN.
• Enter the PIN of the card and start surfing.
• If your card still has surfing time left on it, it can be used at the next ZANLINK WI -ZONE.
